Information Architecture

I wireframed the initial search results screens and designed the back-end system from the ground up. The back-end was designed to make it as painful as possible for an administrator to do “the wrong thing”. This means it’s harder to delete link profiles, users, and change the names of majors offered by the school.

Development

I developed this entire application using the object oriented approach to programming in PHP. With everything defined as object before even seeing the designs, I was able to easily take the designs, turn them into XHTML/CSS, and plug the correct data into each area and frame that required it.
